After a nutso-crazy week it was nice to have some family time today. Unfortunately it was cold and wet but that didn’t stop us from heading out to get some fresh air and renew our Friends of the Zoo membership. An interior motive was to get some photos for Sundays in my City.

Girl-child was so happy to finally get to the zoo again that she took even more photos than I did and was regularly seen viewing the world through her camera.

I had almost forgotten how much I enjoyed spending time at the zoo, it literally is just up the road and we should visit more often.

Interesting how just up the street are places we rarely visit, but have a great day when we do. Very nice shots. Girl-child looks a home behind a camera!
