Surely it is a sign that advertising has far too much influence on kids, or perhaps it is that my kids watch far too much tv but advertising jingles and slogans seem to get stuck in their heads far too easily. Take the rousing rendition of a jingle that they sang on the way to school this morning.
Now in case you missed it, it is Motor Finance Wizard says yes, yes. That isn’t quite what the kids heard. Instead they sing Motor Paper Scissors says yes, yes. That then evolved (or should I say mutated) to Motor Paper Scissors Rock yes, yes and eventually to the slightly more sane version
Rock paper scissors says yes, yes,
Rock paper scissors, rock paper scissors,
Rock paper scissors says yes!
Not sure which is more entertaining, my kids singing their rendition the entire way to school, thankfully it is a 6 minute drive or this version of the song I found when you-tubing the ad!
Can you tell that I am playing the avoid reality game and don’t feel like being domestic just yet? It seems to be far too easy to find any excuse to procrastinate?
