I sit here in the cold, I am too tired and hungry to really enjoy my morning of peace and quiet before I head in to work ON MY DAY OFF! I need chocolate but don’t want to wander to the shop so instead I am sitting in the back yard catching up on blogs (oh the joys of RSS!) as it is warmer outside than it is inside. By my side I have a bowl of cookie dough – the only food in the house containing chocolate.
The reading is a way to procrastinate about all of the domestic duties that should be attended to now as I will be working this afternoon. The to-do list is huge and I don’t know where to start. Instead I read a post update on the planning of a fantastic kids birthday cake over at Living in the Gray. Not only is the cake fantastic, I found a new favourite quote left by one of the commenters…

This concept sure rings true around here. Now if only the motherguilt would turn off for a few more minutes so I can enjoy more blog time….
